A series of workshops aimed at forming a collaborative network to exchange information on urban carbon emissions and to form a cross-city synthesis of this information in order to aid researchers and collaborators in tackling important objectives. This synthesis effort specifically sought to quantify and understand the similarities and differences between carbon fluxes across cities, to facilitate and harmonize the sharing of data, to construct scalable atmospheric modeling systems, and to engage stakeholders.
