(Europe/Zurich: 16 October–9 December 2026)

The Integrated Global Greenhouse Gas Information System (IG3IS) is an initiative of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) under its Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) Programme. It was established to produce information on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals to help countries, cities, and other stakeholders make better-informed decisions.

The Spanish-language IG3IS implementation training is intended to build practical capacity in Spanish-speaking countries to design and implement national or subnational greenhouse gas monitoring systems using the IG3IS framework. The target audience includes countries already developing IG3IS-related proposals and newcomers seeking to understand implementation requirements. This training is jointly organized by WMO-IG3IS and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).
